We would love for you to become involved in the Faith and Support Ministry.   Listed below are several ways that you can get involved.



Volunteer to Help Us Make our Products:

Join us at one of our Monthly Ministry Sewing Days.  A list of these sewing days are listed on the "Events" page.  There are lots of things that people can do on these sewing days.  You don't need to know how to sew to participate in our Ministry, but if you want to learn to sew - we can teach you how.  We had the pleasure of recently teaching Eliza (age 8) and Hazel (age 10) how to use the sewing machine by sewing our port pillows.  This is a simple, easy way to teach people how to sew.  These young ladies did a fabulous job. 


Donate Sewing Materials:


 

  • Soft Material – Preferably Pink in Color (Best if by the yard)

 

  • Stuffing for the Pillows (we usually use the Polyester Fiberfill)

 

  • Velcro – Black – ¾” Sew-In Type

 

  • Elastic – White or Pink – ¾” or 1” in Width 

 

Donate Funds:

Faith & Support Ministry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so all donations are tax-deductible. All monetary funds will be used to purchase sewing materials, tank tops or materials to put together one of the care bags.  Faith and Support Ministry has no overhead or payroll costs.
